Job Title: Office Manager / Administrative Assistant

Job Description: The Office Manager will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Honeyleaf Platters. This multifaceted position combines administrative, assistant, and light delivery responsibilities, ensuring our office runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing a variety of tasks, from handling office administration to picking up supplies and making deliveries as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Administrative & Assistant Duties:

  • Manage daily office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling customer inquiries.

  • Maintain office organization, including filing, ordering office supplies, and keeping common areas tidy.

  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and event coordination.

  • Help manage and track inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking of supplies.

  • Assist in preparing invoices, processing payments, and handling basic bookkeeping tasks.

  • Support the owner with administrative tasks, including data entry, research, and document preparation.

Supply Pickup & Deliveries:

  • Pick up catering supplies, ingredients, and packaging from local stores and vendors as needed.

  • Make deliveries to clients for smaller catering orders and charcuterie boards, ensuring timely and professional service.

  • Maintain a delivery schedule to ensure all pickups and drop-offs are completed efficiently.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all deliveries are accurate, complete, and meet Honeyleaf's standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; ability to use personal or company vehicle for pickups and deliveries.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or experience with invoicing is a plus.

  • Familiarity with the catering or food service industry is an advantage but not required.

  • Comfortable lifting and carrying supplies up to 25 pounds.
